The formation of the Landing Church Seattle began in August of 2012 in southern Arkansas while Andy Brown was the pastor of Elliott Baptist Church in Camden, AR. He resigned on August 26 to focus his efforts full-time on raising awareness, support, and partners to help reach the 96% unchurched in the Seattle metro area, specifically in Kenmore, WA, where he and his family relocated to in January of 2013.
The church is in the foundational stage of development and is currently seeing the favor of God in an amazing way with doors being opened and key relationships being built with government officials, school principals and faculty, and people in the community of Kenmore. Small groups and local mission efforts will start in March. Weekend worship services are slated to start in the Fall of 2013.
