NAMB-Prestonwood Network: Student Missionary Internship

Through our partnership with the North American Mission Board, the Prestonwood Student Ministry has given our high school and college students the opportunity to not only serve here at home, but also to serve nationwide as summer missionary interns with NAMB Send Cities and Prestonwood Network partner churches, church plants and replants.

This summer, 18 Prestonwood students are serving as summer missionary interns at six Prestonwood Network church plants across North America. These students will be getting on-the-ground training, learning the ins and outs of vocational service.

This internship provides the opportunity for these students to work together and with church planters to be the change in the lives of those who live in these Send Cities. Both college students and high school students have given their hearts to serve these church plants and to propel the ministries forward through their assistance and service.

The goal of this internship is to immerse students in ministry, missions and church planting in an urban context. We want to help students discover their interests and gifts for mission service and provide practical leadership experiences in missions so that these students will be trained for future work in the mission field. Most of all, we want these students to grow in Christ and to strengthen their faith and the boldness of their witness as they gain awareness of God’s work throughout the country.

How to Get Involved: PRAY

Join us in prayer for these 18 students and church plants!

  • Pray for those whom these students encounter; pray that they would respond to the Gospel and be saved. Ask that God would add people to these church plants.
  • Pray that these students would be able to make meaningful connections with the people of North America.
  • Pray that these missionary interns would have a life-changing experience that would stir them to a great place of faith in God.

If you can, set a reminder to pray for these mission interns each day this summer! We are so excited to see what God has planned for these students, church plants and the people they encounter.
